To ensure credibility with employers and clients, ACP Teaching Pros must have appropriate Competitive Credentials or the equivalent. This can be demonstrated through any of the following Pathways:
| Pathway 1 | Candidate has played or coached in at least one of the following Tier 1 Events:
*Note: Candidates who have competed in comparable events in another country will be considered on a case-by-case basis. |
| Pathway 2 | Candidate has played or coached in at least one of the following Tier 2 Events, plus at least 10 CTRS/CMDR Events.
Note: Candidates who meet the Tier 2 Event criteria, but not the 10 CTRS/CMDR criteria, can still qualify through Pathway 3. |
| Pathway 3 | Candidate has played or coached in at least one of the following Tier 3 Events, plus at least 10 CTRS/CMDR Events:
Note: Pathway 3 candidates will be required to complete the ACP Winning Edge Certificate before moving on to their Head Teaching Pro training. |
| Pathway 4 | Candidate has completed one of the following Advanced Coach Education or Practical Teaching Experience equivalencies:
*Must have also played or coached in at least 10 CTRS/CMDR Events. **Can be youth and/or adult, paid or volunteer. Must be verified by a senior club official. Note: Pathway 4 candidates will also be required to complete the ACP Winning Edge Certificate before moving on to their Head Teaching Pro training. |
| Pathway 5 | Candidates who do not qualify through Pathways 1-4 must complete each of the following Required Equivalencies:
